Sociopolitical Development In Hispanic and Black Youth

Race and social class continue to define the opportunity structure for American youth, with noted ethnic/race differences in school quality and access to other resources. In this project we are focusing on adolescents’ developing awareness of ethnic/racial inequities, their beliefs about the causes of inequities, and their goals for their own educational attainment and future well being.
